I was just speaking with a random relative (met over a mistaken identity over email) and remembered that I hadn't posted our ability to hand out an @malanfamily.com email address to family members. We got an allotment of 500 for free (thanks Google!) and the accounts are handled through Gmail.

If you're interested in having one of these accounts, please email me at traek-at-malanfamily-dot-com. You can use it as your primary account and still have your Gmail, Yahoo!, MSN, AOL or other email retrieved by it and not lose any emails. Once you're signed up, you can check your mail at mail.malanfamily.com (also hosted and secured by Google).

Once you have an account, you can use docs.malanfamily.com: online document storage (journal, birthday lists, etc.), sites.malanfamily.com: Free web hosting for your family's photos, blogs, etc., and other standard Google tools including Google Talk.
