Earlier today I completed some maintenance on Malan Family Community including an update to JomSocial, the "Community" component of MFC. One of the chief features this update brings is the ability to link your MFC account with your Facebook account. That means you can either:

1. You can sign up for MFC using your Facebook account
2. Link your existing MFC user to your Facebook account

If you're interested in using your Facebook user with MFC, click on 'Read More' to find out how. If not, don't worry, MFC users are not required to use Facebook to authenticate. This is simply a feature that allows Facebook users to authenticate more securely and not have to remember multiple logins for multiple sites.

Here's how it works:

1. If you haven't signed up for Malan Family Community yet and you already have a Facebook account, simply click on the 'Connect with Facebook' button on the sidebar. This will send you to Facebook to sign in with your account.
2. If you're already signed up for Malan Family Community and Facebook, sign into MFC, click on 'Community' then go to Profile > Edit Profile. You will then be prompted to sign into your Facebook account.
